It's a link based on part of what I said in last night's meeting.     Kartenmeister is a database that takes Prussian towns, townships and cities of old, and maps them to current day Polish towns, townships and cities.          www.kartenmeister.com       If you want to test it, one town is Thiergarth, Germany.
